Wallet !

On the 18th which happened to be on Friday, my family and I went out because my uncle was all treating us to an all-you-can-eat Buffet! The place was simple and very comfortable, the food were also delicious and they did offer a lot of options. I had a baked potato, some seafood lasagna and black-peppered beef. We've actually been there before and it did not come to me before I actually saw the place and, oh hold on -I've been here before.

The restaurant was inside a mall and since we arrived so much more earlier my family and I decided to walk around the shops. I found a wallet that caught my attention and sweet muffins, it was on a 50% discount. Since my old (three years old) wallet was starting to get embarrassingly weary (plus, it's white and has various ink stains on it) I decided to get it.

as much as i love hello kitty,

In comparison to size, this one is much smaller and does not offer as many slots for cards as the old one did. In length it is also much shorter and the money fits just enough without having to fold them in two. The downside to it is that I can't carelessly put my bills in like I used to be able to do in the old one (so much space, sighs) and I had to take out some cards because there wasn't enough slots. But this one will give me more space in my bags and will be so much more easy to take in and out.

What do I keep in my wallet?

Pictures of me and my friends, a must! It feels more personal this way and 'mine'.

Old movie tickets that I've watched. It's sort of fun, when after a while you see these again try to remember who you went with and what you did that day.

From important to useless cards! Who doesn't like to have their wallets full of these?

//:review: Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion

I keep a little collection of make-up for myself, it's not too impressive but I've only started last year and my limited budget refrains me from purchasing so much at once. I'm a fan of korean make-up, a lot of their prices are affordable for the wallet of a teenager. I know they have a lot of physical shops here but since the prices rise due to tax and what not I buy them online where the prices do not differ much from their original fare. You have to be careful though, not everything they sell online is trustable and original, a lot of items have replicas these days.

etude house, peripera, skinfood, innisfree, holika holika

Today I will be reviewing one of the newest babe who joined the family.
It's Etude House's Precious Mineral Any Cushion SPF 50+ PA+++. These BB/foundation cushions have been the trend lately. There are other popular brands which have also produced their own, say, high-end brand Mamonde.

I purchased mine in the actual store since I was unsure of which skin tone I fitted the most. Etude offers them in three shades; N02 Light Beige, W13 Natural Beige and W24 Honey Beige. The one I purchased is in Honey Beige.

The Precious Mineral Any Cushion claims to offer a six-in-one fuctions; Sun Screening (SPF50+PA+++), Moisturizing, Anti-Wrinkle, Tone Correcting, Whitening and Sebum Control.

I heard that the packaging in Korea is in white, the ones they sell here are in a light shade of pink. I personally don't mind since I like the one in pink better, The package isn't exactly small but not exactly big either. It is portable but might take up a bit of space in your handbag.

The foundation is safely covered by a cap where the puff lays. This is to prevent the puff from absorbing essence and dryness.

I personally am in love with this, it does feel soft on the skin and you don't need to apply a lot of product. It also sells refills which means you won't have to spend as much money if you are thinking of repurchasing the product again.

It whitens the skin smoothes it out in a natural way. The chances of going wrong with this product is small. It also offers great coverage if you apply a couple of layers above your imperfections.

Will I repurchase this? Yes, I've sort of jumped from the CC cream to this. It's so much easier to apply and looks more natural to me. It also offers coverage, which is a plus considering how light this feels on the skin.

To anyone interested in BB creams/foundation but want something which is easier to apply, I totally recommend this for you!

little intro + insight

So, here I go?
I guess before I start to write about my days here I should do a small introduction, not too long, not too short about who I am and a little insight on what I will write in this blog.
I'm dinu (nickname /read: dee- not die.) your typical emotionally unstable teenager of seventeen going on eighteen. I live in a family of four with working parents and an older brother who is six years older than I am. An avid manga reader, part-time day dreamer and unhealthy exo fan.
Since I've recently finished my exams and will have a handful of time to spare, I was thinking of writing a blog to keep me productive during my holidays. Who knows, maybe I'll get the hook to this and not leave my old blogs like I did (can't seem to remember the links?).
What will I write in this blog? Things about my daily life, what I did on certain special days, reviews on products, movies or books I read.
